| If the rumors are true and we get a new codex, what about the coven supplement? | |

| Seeing as we had a Coven supplement with the last codex I'd rather see the current cupplement rolled into a codex and a Wych Cult supplement, bulking their fluff up more and making them have some fancy goodies.
Or, wildly, actually have GW care about its fans and not just money squeezing, and have all three done well and in the same book instead of having a later release

| But would a new codex with decent rules and formations invalidate the coven supplement? | |

Only if there are significant changes to Coven units. For example, if Wracks become troops, they couldn't be taken in a Covenite Coterie detachment anymore. The same goes for any eventual new Coven units, because the supplement wouldn't cover them. At least until it's FAQ-ed.

| Just see what happened with Yanden suppl. It`s now like a cat. Here and nowhere. Like GW says "well, if you have Yanden, probably you can play with it"
So probably we will be able to use Covens when DE will be released. Or some Coven formations will be there

| Based on the current style, I think any new rules would come from a campaign book like Mont'ka and Curse of the Wulfen. Close enough I guess.
And based on what is not selling, and what GW could probably do with pushing to sell, I can see a Wych Cult campaign entry to fix them and make them more viable, maybe with new unit variations and some Wych Formations.
Which I would think bad, because personally I really don't care that much about Cults or Covens, and wish and prasy for some decent Kabaltie Formations. But Wych Cult is the most likely.

| I'd like to see stuff like the blood tithe rule of Khorne. That would be nice... | |

| Assuming that none of the systems get a major change (i.e. the power from pain mechanic doesn't change - still an effect that adds with each turn, and no force org changes to coven units), then there should be no issue with playing with the coven supplement, as the rules are mostly formations and wargear.
However, I think that if the rumor of changing wracks to have 2 wounds is correct, then it will actually enhance playing with the coven supplement, as the haemy PfP IWND will actually be useful for units other than Haemies and Grotesques.

| If DE get included in a campaign book in the future, changes would heavily depend on which side of the book we're on. If DE are the star, like SW and Tau, expect the whole Detachment and Formationvaganza. I could see some auxiliary formations, maybe a core or command one, to focus on the Coven units. The current PfP mechanics could be rolled into that.
White Scars and Ravenguard also got some fancy toys, but the Daemon update isn't looking too hot at the moment.
