Bare chest / bodies?

Hi chjaps, help a guy find a component?

I need some bare chest torsos, lean enough to be an Eldar physique.

I have a load from some Hail Caeser! Celtic Warriors, but I don't want to have to buy another box of them just for three more bodies.

As a thought, whats the word I'm thinking of? A bare, unclothed basic frame of a body (miniature) that you can pose.....

As far as GW models go, Doomfire Warlocks are probably your best bet. They are pretty buff, but at least their anatomy still looks Elven.



I wouldn't wait too long before buying them, by the way. A large number of "Aelf" models have disappeared from the webstore this month.

The wood elf wild riders might fit the bill as well!

I would suggest those too but honestly they need a lot of work depending on your purpose.  The plus side is that they can be had pretty cheaply in groups of 5 from bits shops/ebay.



I used some in my exodite themed corsairs, but they fit the nature theme pretty much perfectly.

They are the right size to fit on eldar legs, but I generally had to trim the belts off and then fill the eldar/dark eldar leg "sockets" before attaching the torsos and legs.  Also I found the preformed necks annoying so I clipped them off and hand drilled holes to insert normal eldar heads.

Finally - the backs aren't entirely finished either, which can be remedied/exploited in quite a number of ways.
