new player need help with starting a Dark Eldar army

Hello fellow archons of Commorragh!

I was always interested in WH40k by reading alot of the fluff there is. Initialy the Eldar were of interest to me and after getting a bit more into the fluff i decided that the Dark Eldar are the ones i like most, having in mind that they are the true kin ( the real citizens of the Eldar Empire`s core and the ones who led to its fall, because of their interest in pleasures ^^.)

So in the time of my interest i was tempted and bought some miniatures just to see how they feel visualy and to get into the hobby with modeling and painting. Recently i am tempted again to start playing the game and i was wondering if you guys can help me with starting my Kabal force so i can torment the unsuspecting galaxy.

The models i have for now are the following:

Haemonculus x1

Venom x1

Raider x1

Kabalites x10

Wyches x10

Archon x1 ( i managed to convert him to Archon Vraesque Malidrach )

Incubi x5

Reaver Jetbikes x3

Half of this force i already managed to paint according to the Kabal of the Flayed Skull

Having this in mind my idea for the army is to be air force oriantated, i really love the models for the Razorwing jetfighter and even more for the Voidraven Bomber. Also Scourges are looking really cool so i would like to have a bunch of them tooand  they would need a Haemy to frequentley upgrade their urge for speed and revive them because of the same reason, so i would like to have also a Haemoculus formation one of theese perhaps: Dark Artisian, Grotesquerie or a Scalpel squadron.

In competitive terms i would play rather casually in the local gaming club ( win here and there wont hurt). And  the most important for me is to have a cool looking army that shows who the Dark Eldar are and what their role is in the WH40k universe.

The short answer is transports, and even more transports. Consider buying 2 more Venoms and a pack of Scourges. This will allow you to play a well-rounded 500-600pt list with what you have.

You'll then have a solid base with which to decide where you want to go.

Ravagers and Razorwings are solid picks, as are the the Dark Artisan and the Grotesquerie formations. Those formations both require quite specific buys though; 2 Pain Engines and 6-10 Grotesque models or conversions, so it's not exactly cheap.

As far as grotesques go, you can easily convert them from vampire counts crypt horrors. Just put the mask of a pain engine on them and you're good to go. Otherwise:

Thanks guys i will probably order some Scourges and a venom for now. And one more thing if i want to use Razorwings and Voidravens for the future is 2 razorwings and a voidraven a good composition?

I almost always run one of each and I'd like to get another Razorwing and try them like that. The Voidraven really isn't worth it's point value, but it is a nice model and it'll draw a lot of fire, which can be to your advantage.

Some reserve manipulation might be a good idea with that many fliers. Either an allied Autarch (I plan to covert mine from a Sybarite who has been particularly heroic to keep in theme) or a comms relay.
