| Hi Guys, I am making a return to 40k and have decided to go full Coven, and I got thinking about the Raiders. Now I am aware that you can now get Wracks to crew them, but I am thinking that the Warlord Haemunculus would probably want something special, and what could be more special than converting one of his beloved Talos into his personal raider? Not being made of money I have opted to make the conversion work as both a Talos and raider for occasions where I might need more of one or the other. Here are some photos of where I am so far: As you can see I have magnetised the arms and torso that it can go on both models, I have also had to angle the Talos arms down a fair bit which has actually lead to a great alternative pose amongst my other Talos. The plan is to add lots of tubes and wiring to connect the Talos to the raider as it's 'interface' for both the hands and torso and with it sitting ontop of the engines, this should work fairly well. I will then need to sort out some kind of front turret where the Talos is also handling that and make the whole thing look more 'coven'. C&C very welcome. | |

| Great idea. Magentising the talos is very smart . Look forward to seeing how this progresses. SC | |

| Thanks very much! Here's an update with today's work: I think the messy look of the wires and tubes will look better once the bone racks etc have been added to the hull. As always C&C is very welcome. | |

| I must admit, i'm envious. In one word: Awesome.
Looking forward to what you're up to for the front of that Raider.

| Oh, cool!
What are those tubes made of? By the color, I'd guess styrene rod, but how are you bending them?

Yeah they are styrene tubes, the thinner you go the easier they bend, these are 1mm and 0.75mm rods and the 1mm needs to be bent slowly by running your fingernail across it multiple times, similar to curling ribbons with scissors. Also warm fingers helps!

| Hey guys,
Here's my first video for the conversion, it gives a much better idea of how it looks and my thoughts for it going forward.
