DE Raven now on Forgeworld's 'last chance to buy' pages

Pretty much what the title says tbh, if you want a Raven, better get in quick because it's on the way out by the looks of it.

Well it is a pretty old model and doesn't fit the current design as it used the 3rd edition aesthetics. Maybe we will get an updated model for it or something new... One can dream can't they.

Not too surprising after they weren't included in the new supplement, I suppose.

It'll be interesting to see if/how the new flyer rules affect forgeworld going forward.  Death from the skies doesn't touch any of the surprising number of forgeworld flyers, many of which seem like prime candidates considering their clear roles.

The Xiphon, Nightwing, and hell blade for example should have better dogfighting abilities than just about any of the codex birds... while it'll be harder to classify things like the phoenix bomber which literally carries no bombs.

My biggest question though lies with the super heavy flyers.  I'd personally love to see what a dogfight between a thunderhawk and a vampire raider would look like.

The raven was the dark eldar's only "single role" fighter, so that question is answered at least.

Whatever is in that list always doesnt worth to buy in my opinion, because in some time there will not be rules supporting the model.
