| Hello & welcome to the Kabal of the Dripping Gash project Log! I'm no pro painter & not the most experienced when it comes to conversions etc, however I hope you'll enjoy looking through my work & I hope it inspires others to get involved & post as well! *Disclaimer* Very few ideas will ever be my own & have probably been stolen from other members of this site! I will try & give credit where it's due, if I can remember who inspired the idea. Thanks for stopping by! Rewind | |

| I'd like to introduce my 1st simple conversion (Inspired by The Shredder) of my as yet un-named Succubus: A simple kit-bash to get the ball rolling, using the Wych Hekatrix as it's base, a Hellion Hellglaive & the pistol from the Kabalite warriors box. Nothing too fancy to get started, but a satisfying build non the less, the pistol arm was a little tricky, but as it goes, I'm rather pleased with how it turned out! | |

| I like it, maybe simple but it works well. Great job. | |

| Thanks guys!
Hoping to convert a few more of the Wyches box to Lhamaeans, but am short on inspiration.
Probably the only box of Wyches I'll ever buy!

By 9th Edition they will be powerful and you will wish you had 60 of them I'm planning some similar conversions for Lhamaeans from Wyches. I think if you can sculpt a skirt onto the legs and some armour on the unarmoured shoulder that could make a reasonable Wych to Lhamaean conversion. Also considering some of the more acrobatic posed passengers for Raiders and Venoms as conversion starting points.

| The manager in my LGS did look at me a bit strange when I asked for them lol, he almost tried to talk me out of it, before I said they were for conversions! - Kantalla wrote:

I see no reason to scult a skirt, it's not wargear so doesn't need to be represented? Just because the GW model wears a skirt doesn't mean it's a requirement right? Lhamaeans just need Kabalite Armour, Splinter Pistol & Shaimeshi Blade. (The GW model doesn't actually model the pistol.) So I plan to go dynamic Wych legs (running leaping etc.), female Warrior torso, a mix of which ever arms combos I like & Wych heads. "Whether elegant short sword, curved dagger or even barbed hair pin" DE CodexShaimeshi Blades can be whatever we want? So any single handed 'bladed' weapon? Which frees me up to pick & choose from all my spare sprues. I hope to get a few done this evening & wil put a few pics up, I hope they should stand out enough from the Succubus, before painting, but we'll see. I chose the standing pose for her on purpose to try & keep her visually different from the intended Lhamaeans, rather than the running Wych legs, as per The Shredder's original conversion, which is more accurate to the GW model.
