Idea for a cross-faction army

Hey there !

When I read that, I was wondering if they were trying to mean a new army where Dark Eldar and Eldar are becoming one ?

Am I correct ?

I hope they are just discussing personal narratives and maybe a new campaign where they unite again like they did in Valedor, not that CWE and DE become Codex: Eldar, I would despise that.

Yeah, but they don't seem to know what to do with DE. That's what scared me the most.

It comes across to me as him just enjoying the narrative of the two factions joining together when circumstances require it, rather than hinting at a new combined codex. In fact it's mainly just a piece to sell the two new boxes, I wouldn't read anything more into it IMHO.

I remember a rumour back in 4th era, and later in 5th, or the two races being combined.
But the current Games Workshop trend is great variation. I don't think they'd combine the Eldar together at a time when they're trying to release lots of variations of different things.

Maybe they release formation consisting of Craftworld and true Eldar.

That's a pretty interesting idea. Have GW ever released a multi faction formation?

I've just been listening to the splintermind episode on freakshow tactics. Imagine a CWE/DE/Harlequins formation that made their leadership based debuffs/attacks even more powerful. Could be pretty interesting to play and people wouldn't expect it.
