VI GT in Talavera de la Reina, Spain

Hello folks, been a while since I last posted, but I wanted to let you know how my last tournament went with the the one and only webway alliance: Dark Eldar and Harlequins. First of all my army list:

Invading Realspace Army List:

1st Game: Tyranids: 3 Tyrants + horde

He had 3 EW objectives in his deployment zone, same as me, occupied by a hel of a lot of bodies. He decided not to throw the tyrants at my face all at the same time but one at a time, what IMO costed him the game, as my list can easily deal with 1-2 FMC no problem. Win.

2nd Game: Eldar

I really dont know how to talk about this game. He tried to cheat in all ways imaginable and I had to call the referee constantly. I had the game in my pocket since I scored the harlequin warlord trait that lets you steal the initiative at 2+ and he still chose to go first, what IMO was a huge mistake, as I can deploy according to him and alpha strike the hell out of him. I think thats why he intentionally lost time. We played only 2 turns, so he won in EW (anhilation) and I won Maelstrom, but by less margin, what left a sour taste in my mouth the rest of the day. Loss.

3rd game: 3 Imperial Knights with Dark Eldar to grab objectives

We played in a table that almost didnt have scenery, (well, it had some desertic hills that didnt even cover an infantry model. Seemed like a WHFB table more than a WH40k one) so I was royally frak, as there was no way to cover my fragile Harlequin loaded starweavers from IK fire. I got tabled in turn 5. Im not saying it was an easy win otherwise by any means, this guy was Dekkers member of the spanish ETC team, so he wasnt gonna go down easy but I would have had at least a fighting chance. Loss.

4th game: Necrons with Orikan's Deathstar, Harvest and some satellite units.

Venoms were definetly my MVP, completely decimating all his army starting with his Wraiths and spider, that I was able to fire at without protocols as I had turn 1, between Reavers and an Harlequin unit I was able to crack open the ghost ark and kill al the warriors inside. His deathstar was the only unit remaining by the end of the game, but in the middle of the table, while I secured both bases (EW mission) blocking them with vehicles so they couldnt get in a 3" radius of them. Win

5th game: 2 IK Renegades and 3 Soulgrinders

This list was IMO better than the one in the 3rd round, but this time I had scenery to hide myself better and ambush the IKs, so I could control the table and threat the IKs using the huge harlequin assault range, Opening space to grab the relic with a bike squad and take it all the way into my side of the table where I defended it, winning EW. I lost maelstrom though, but not by much so I won the round. Win.

Overall it was a great tournament and I think I didnt do bad, as even though the 2nd at 3rd game were losses, they were mostly becouse of things out of my control (unbearable player and disadvantageous scenery respectively). I had a lot of fun and I recommend everyone capable of attending to do so.

That guy is already playing Craftworld Eldar and is still trying to cheat?
