| In an effort to divert my various distractions and consolodate a litt,e this thread shall be all the stuff which isn't my eclectic Imperial army of my Dark Eldar log. So this is the non-Kabalite, non-Imperial stuff. Welcome. First, my newest distraction: Of course, its Bloodbowl. Builtna d ready to paint. Most of my club started claiming various teams, but nobosdy wanted to give the basic Humans their chance. Which made splitting the main box difficult. So I stepped up, ready to give basic Humans their chance and show what they can do. They've since been undercoated and I'll update as I paint them. Second, with the impending partnership end between GW and Fantasy Flight, I decide it was time to finally pick up Relic. Plus both expansions. Talisman is my all time favourite board game, and Relic just hits all the buttons for me. So I've started painting the character figures, and the majority of them are beautiful miniatures (I'm a little disappoijted in the Khorne Berzerker and iron Warrior. They look decent, but very rigid. They could be a lot better, especially when compared to the Space Marine. Nine done including the five Nemeses, eleven to go. Top left to bottom right: Genestealer, Terminator, Space Marine, Daemonette, Berzerker, Iron Warrior, Dire Avengers, Callidus, Eversor, the other eleven. _________________ Kabal of the Eternal Night | Modelling Blog | The Squidmaster Distractathon | Notes on being an RPG Gamesmaster |

| Every now and then, I either build for someone else, or I build a random one-off just for the fun and end up selling it. A new one of those was started today - a DOOMRIDER. So far I've assembled the wheels and main body. Rear exhaust has had the rear pipes replaced with plastic tubes because its easier than drilling, and I've carved away the fuel tank, to be replaced sometime soon. Front forks have been replaced with plastic ntubes so that I could extend them for the Chopper look to the bike. Not pictures, I've cut apart and repositioned the legs so they bend backwards. I'm going to leave off the bottom plate, which means I need to replace the exhaust pipe thats built into it. Thats next to do, along with the front faring and twin-meltas. Can Chaos Space marine bikes have twin-meltas? Will have to check that, and maybe use a generic looking gun which can be either..... _________________ Kabal of the Eternal Night | Modelling Blog | The Squidmaster Distractathon | Notes on being an RPG Gamesmaster |

| FIrst shot of the assembeld Bike, and the rider coming together. On the bike you can see where I added a ball socket to fix the front forks onto, to give me some range for posing. The rider has had his legs sliced and repositioned, as they need to bend back because there isn't going to be the normal marine Bike foot rest. As shown here: TOp iage is a little blurry, but its good enough to show the new front canopy weapon and the upper extension to the front faring's armour plating. Second image shows the rider with both arms at last, one bending backwards and missing a heand while I choose an adequete Power Sword. Third image s the whole thing together. The main body of the bike is now done, and since tkaing the picture has had several spikes added from the Dark Eldar Raider sprue. The next step on the bike is to add the flames, which I think will require the base first, as some of these flames will have to be very large to show a flaming nimbus/tracks a la Ghost Rider. The tempatation to make it a white powder instead was high, but I decided to go classic. THe rider needs more green stuff on his legs to smooth them down, and on both shoudlers to fill in holes. Also needs his Power Sword hand and a head. I'm working on head options, but haven;t quite decided on the look I want. Torn between flaming skull and full face with eyes and nose, like the classic model. _________________ Kabal of the Eternal Night | Modelling Blog | The Squidmaster Distractathon | Notes on being an RPG Gamesmaster |

| Got to start working on the base! FIRE! (or white powder?) You also get a half decernt view of the final form of the bike here, with its nice new spikes. Anyway, a main frame for the nimbus/tire tracks. The plan is for this to all be fire. Flames coming off the wheels, tracking back from the front to the back and skidding into place. I've gone for a 60mm round base, because thats the one Daemon Princes come on. I realise I could have used a Bike/Cavalry base which would have suited for a bike, but my intention is that Doomrider can stand in for a Daemon Prince rather than a normal boring Bike. _________________ Kabal of the Eternal Night | Modelling Blog | The Squidmaster Distractathon | Notes on being an RPG Gamesmaster |

Seven more to go, and I've next started work on the Ratling, Ogryn and Astropath. _________________ Kabal of the Eternal Night | Modelling Blog | The Squidmaster Distractathon | Notes on being an RPG Gamesmaster |

| And here's an ALMOST complete Doomrider: Theres a little more work to, mainly in adding more fire to the basde to that its spinning off of the wheels, and to add a few little licks of flame from Doomrider himself and from his head. _________________ Kabal of the Eternal Night | Modelling Blog | The Squidmaster Distractathon | Notes on being an RPG Gamesmaster |

| NEWS. I finished DOOMRIDER!Now that he's done, I'll likely fling him on eBay at some point in the next few weeks. I had a LOT of fun building him ans am really pleased with the outcome. _________________ Kabal of the Eternal Night | Modelling Blog | The Squidmaster Distractathon | Notes on being an RPG Gamesmaster |

| Yeah......I won't be painting it.
I don't have a CHaos army, and won't ever use it, so I built purely as a "for fun" build, and will be selling it. I might ask whoever buys it to send me a pic once it is painted though. If they do, I'll share it. _________________ Kabal of the Eternal Night | Modelling Blog | The Squidmaster Distractathon | Notes on being an RPG Gamesmaster |

| Deathwatch Razorbacks complete. Three turret options made for each - Lascannon, Heavy Bolter, and a satellite dish to cover the turret hole when I use them as simple Rhinos. _________________ Kabal of the Eternal Night | Modelling Blog | The Squidmaster Distractathon | Notes on being an RPG Gamesmaster |

| Neat I like the swappable radar dish to cover the sponson-hole when they're Rhinos. Very smart _________________ Check out may pan-Eldar projects Exodites, Corsairs, Craftworld, True Kin, Croneworld (soon) and one Shadowseer!: http://www.thedarkcity.net/t14405-corsairs-exodites-craftworlders-and-hopefully-kabalites-soon | |

| I started this thread with a Bloodbowl team, and then forgot to post actual finished images of them. So here they are: The Vandalberg Victims. The name and primary colour scheme (red) comes from the number of them who find their way to the Casualty box in EVERY game. So far in my club's league, four games in, THREE players have DIED. As in, totally died after the game. Thus, the victims. The team is very basic with no conversion work, except for the two shown in the middle image. These are my converted Griff Oberwald on the left, and The Mighty Zug on the right. _________________________________________ Next, its a new project. Now, I know I made a new years resolution which I've sort of kept to of no new projects until I finish all of the unfinished ones I have on my shelf, but SHUT UP THIS ONES A COMMISSION IT DOESN'T COUNT. So my friend Chris has a Tyranid army, and a while back I made him a Malanthrope. Now, he wants a Dimachaeron, which is apparently some kind of large character-hunting monster. Its a big beasty, and Chris wanted one. What he also wanted however, was for it to not look like a normal Dimachaeron. He wants a unique beast in his army, so thats what he's going to get. The basic design is going to use a Carnifex body, and many extra bits to extend it out. Having dug through his bits box, its going to resemble a scorpion. Heres the main body, both as general mockup and assembled. As I said, its a Carnifex body, extended with wire and random bits, as a Maleceptor head, its jaw opened up. I've got the legs and arms ready as seen in the bottom image, I just need to Green Stuff the body a bit to fill in holes and smooth it out before I start adding limbs. That tail also needs a bit more securing. _________________ Kabal of the Eternal Night | Modelling Blog | The Squidmaster Distractathon | Notes on being an RPG Gamesmaster |

| ...you're really testing my resolve in not starting a Tyranid project while I've still got so many others on the go... That looks really, really cool _________________ Check out may pan-Eldar projects Exodites, Corsairs, Craftworld, True Kin, Croneworld (soon) and one Shadowseer!: http://www.thedarkcity.net/t14405-corsairs-exodites-craftworlders-and-hopefully-kabalites-soon | |

| PRogress on the Dimachaeron: More green-stuffing needed to fill in holes and smooth things out, then I'll add the last legs and the claws. _________________ Kabal of the Eternal Night | Modelling Blog | The Squidmaster Distractathon | Notes on being an RPG Gamesmaster |
