Hate Bringer coterie and Scalpel Squadron

Has anyone ever tried to field a SS with a HB coterie in support?

The Hate Bringer coterie marks the weaker unit in the enemy army and if anything kills that unit you get a VP.
If the coterie is, say, a small unit of scatterbikes, the SS should make short work of what survives their fire.
1+d3 points for first blood should be a good start.

Could it work\did it work for you?

I never personnally tried the SS, but from what I heard in this forum, Getting the First Blood with it is harder than expected. You can try it, but don't be surprised if you fail to finish your target.
