Well, It's finally started, what I've promised myself will be the last Army I start, until I've finished or gotten rid of everything else. The only thing bigger than my hobby ADD is my btz collection, while I was in the garage looking for my Corsairs and Empire bitz to make this bad boy.

.... Hmm, I guess we have to wait a few more days for pictures >.< Anyways...

I ran across Skaven Storm Vermin and VC bits which will form the basis of my wracks, as well as some Rat Ogres and Chaos Spawn which will see new life as Grotesques. Hopefully I can squeeze a few Haemonculi out of the deal too.

I will also be painting a squad of Wyches, 5 GW wracks, a Raider, a Ravager, a Venom, and a Chronos.

(I realized just how much butt those tings kick, not by themselves, but by flooding my army with pain tokens.)

Anyhow, more pics as conversions and test models start to flow, I will likely be asking for advice on choosing a color scheme.... or rather, where the black and purple go on the models.

Anyhoo, it's 2AM and I need to clean tiny bits of sprue off the bedspread before I collapse. Ta ta!

I'm liking it, but I'm going to have to think about if the skin is too pale.

Metal is Liche purple + Vallejo Metallic Medium, then Purple Ink + VMM



And then the booty?



Dunno if I should leave the knife handle black or paint it bone. (I know they don't use wraithbone, but I like the look, would it have too much pop?

The first two are Ancient Haemies, and there are another 3 similar to the third, so I can take 6 if I so choose.

Finally, a use for all those flagellants I picked up when they went plastic.

These ones I had fun on, Talos bits will really let you turn anything into a grotesque.

They're not ready for painting, yet, between deciding if I want to fill the holes on the Spawn's backs with spawn bitz or save these bad boys until I get enough vials and whatnot from Talos kits. Oh and greenstuff, that greenstuff....

I'm liking those conversions, the hat works surprisingly well with the Duke model.
