New player please help

I'm a pretty new dark eldar player. Started playing a month or so ago not really sure. I have the start collecting, scourges, and GOC. I'm thinking of getting the kabalite raider bundle next. I'm not sure where to take it though. All help would be appreciated my DE have worked great so far but when I get beat. I get beat. I get plenty of comments from space marine players about having a crap army. And well, I'd like to beat those two opponents that keep getting me.

(I do realize new edition is about to be here. Not new to the game. Just the army.)

If you're playing against space marine players, it's a pretty safe bet they're running either drop pod grav or battle company. The easiest counter to that is Haemonculus Covens units, specifically Grotesques and Wracks. If you're still invested in 7th edition and want some new models to try out, I recommend the Scalpel Squadron formation. It consists of 2 Venoms and 2 units of Wracks. The new plastic Wrack kits let you build Venom crewmen out of the spare parts too so if you're looking for consistency with your dudes there you go. Otherwise, Grotesques tend to work very well against Space Marine players, particularly if they're using a lot of grav or Rhinos.

You are 100% correct (drop pods that'll just now down one unit early game if they get initiative). My GW store has a hugeeee sum of space marine players. As expected. I'm kind of doing DE on a budget. Although that's not the hardest thing to do. I was thinking of picking of grotesques just a bit annoying having to buy them one by one. My brother is a iron hands player who absolutely adores his land raider. While it does murder my raider a group of haywire scourges later... the problem is contesting objective games. The sheer amount of speed my jeybikes need to move around. I can't sit them there and expect the 3+ jink to last forever. Thanks for the feed back
