| Not sure I see how Dissies are better than Darklances against vehicles and MC
Against T(6-7 most vehicles 3+ sv) 5 lances will average 7.77 damage (3+ to hit 3+ to wound (0.444 wounds per dl), D6 damage per wound (using 3.5 here since we are talking averages)) 5 dissies will average 5.55 damage (3+ to hit 5+ to wound (0.555 wounds per dissie) 2 damage per wound) Against T8 dissies math doesn't change, but the DL goes to 5.8275 so still higher than the dissie but not by much.
I chose 5 because it's far more likely for 2D6 to average 7
Against T4 & T5 2 wound models the dissie really shines, even with the DL wounding on a 2+ for T4 the dissie wins.

| Dissis on anything that can take it and DL on scourges. You aren't counting on giving them haywire right? | |

| Haywire? No. Absolutely no. But I think I won´t rip the guns off. Instead make them Heat Lances. For Dark Lances, I´d by an additional Ravager or maybe put one in every infantry squad (Kabalites and Trueborn). | |

| Haywire is good against some armies, but Dark Lances are better over all
Dis is great against anything T4-5 with multi mounts where DL's are better agaisnt T6+ with multi wounds (tanks/vehicles).
Haywire is good against Necrons

| Blaster are better against necron, d3 is hard enough to block with quantum shielding still wounding on a 3+. | |

| Those works well too, Necrons you just dont want to do more than 1-2 (3 can be ok) wounds per profile as AT or they will just have good chance to ignore.
But Necros gets SO MANY shots within Blaster Range i would not want to get that close to them.

| Btw, I guess I'm just wishing here but you never know. Can a Cronos revive a dead model or just heal a wounded one ?
Another thing, the Sslyths does counts as individual units right ? So lets say i take 4 Sslyths and run it around with my Archon. If my archon takes a wound I can take it on any Sslyth model i want to with in range, no matter if I have another wounded Sslyth nearby aswell. So basicly I can have a 12 wound buffer to my Archon without losing a single Sslyth ?

| I thought it was 1 court unit per archon, if not and all 4 don't have to be in the same unit then Im pretty sure that your opponent can choose which Ssylth to shoot at, although all 4 would have to go down before they could shoot your archon. | |

| Nevermind, just noticed that they're 44p a pop. 11p/ wound. Perhaps more of a gimmicky thing than a legit tactic i guess. | |

| Going to shut this puppy down, as it is more rules discussion at this point, rather than news and rumour. New discussions of specific rules and tactics, and how Dark Eldar will operate from now on should take place in the relevant TACTICS and RULES: QUERIES & QUESTIONS sections of COMMORRAGH: TACTICA and CRAFTWORLD ELDAR, HARLEQUINS & CORSAIRS. There is enough solid information now to allow us to do this.
Thank you.
