Personaly i have a lot`s of beasts.
Get them with 5th edition. They was absolutely awesome back then. In 7th edition they was nerfed, but i expected this. I tried a lots of options and beastpacks were awfull back then.

Now... Looking at stats-points i don`t even want to give them a try. Did they realy should be that bad? What about GW`s "every unit will find it`s place on the battlefield" stuff?

But those Murder of Crows are more and cheaper and not metal..... i will get those now!
they are 15 models per box, box is 16-20 USD so they are like 1 or less $ per base!

Beastmasters for rerolls, Chronos for regenerating wounds (AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!) and after that probably just like, a bunch of Ravagers or Voidravens. Something that can make short work of big tough stuff while the Razorwing Flocks destroy literally anything they come into contact with.

Ah sorry, didn't see you posted it already. Those zombicide ones do look pretty cheap if you just want a lot of bases.

As someone who has always wanted Beasts to work, I am thrilled. Both Dogs and Birds look usable, and with the Beastmaster being a Character this is looking promising.

I didn't know that they had the keyword to benefit from Auras though. Ill have to re-read them.

Also, old Chaos WarDogs are the best value I found. $35 CDN for 10, and official GW to boot.

Don't forget, if you bring a Beastmaster, you get an extra unit of Beasts that doesn't take up a slot.

We have officially found our cheese tourney list people 200 razorwing flocks that operate on ork logic "dun matta if'n we shoots bad, if we gots enough dakka we'll kill'em anyway" basically 1600 attacks hitting on 5's means about 533.33 of them will hit (without re-read) and wounding on 6's means right about 90 wounds 3+ save drops that to 30 wounds that get through (very quick done in my head maths so it could easily be wrong) ... This will kill any and everything in it's path even the strongest vehicles will fall to the wave of beak and claw that will wash over the battlefield ... That is also assuming nothing is lost to overwatch ... Also ... The shear amount of models on the table means absolutely no enemy deep strike is possible except for on their back line if they elect to do so after their first movement phase

I have a bunch of beasts - tried the khymera couple of days ago... 10 were ok.

I have 8 razorwing flocks... might be the next ones to be tried
