Stinger Pistol profile

Is it exactly the same as the Splinter Pistol?

In my head it should be 2+ poison, but seems they just cut and pasted the Splinter Pistol profile and added a 7 point cost.

Yeah. It looks like a typo to me. Hopefully, it will be errata'd - I assume that someone has let them know about this by now.

Lets assume for a second that its not a mistake...

Who can actually access the pistol? Haemonculus (who have a splinter pistol standard anyway) and wracks (who have no options for a pistol outside of this).

It seems expensive for what it is for sure but wracks have no access to any pistol outside of this (and even then its the leader only)

It certainly seems like a typo because of who can access it but you never know

it might be just the Haemonculi, (I'll have to look at the index again) to upgrade from a splinter to a stinger pistol for what is it? ~5 pts? Despite both pistols having the same profile. I hope it's just a typo.

That being said, if it is fixed to a 2+ poison, would you consider taking it?

I think that 7 pts is a bit steep. I'm pretty sure that I can allocate 7 pts elsewhere... but if, for some reason I can't, then sure.

If it were 3-5 pts, then I'd consider it more readily.

jeah even a 2+ poison 1 shot for 7 point at short range is to much for me.
But most coven ranged weapons are slightly overpriced.

Yep, only another 3 points to the cost of a Blast Pistol, which ignores saves, threatens vehicle and does D3 wounds.

With the cost of an Agoniser, a Venom Blade seems expensive for a point higher.

Venom for 3, Stinger for 5 would be ok. I don't see myself ever taking either at their current costs.

Not sure i'll take a huskblade either.. it'd need to be ap-4 or something to make it attractive. but anyway, i'm getting a way off topic.
