Assistance

So my lovely Archons, Succubi and Haemonculi

The time has come for my first game of 8th edition, what advice do you have for me? I'm playing against deamons, 1000 point game.
I'm pretty sure he'll take at least 20 bloodletters, 6 bloodcrushers, skarbrand and a soul grinder (he normally does at least)

What works? What doesn't?

I have a Voidraven which I'll almost certainly use as he'll have very little to shoot it down with, I also imagine having everything on board venoms/raiders is a good plan (I have 2 of each) what should my antitank be though? Lances or blasters? Do I use Scourges?
And what is a good HQ? Is there any point having melee units as I'm against deamons? Or should I just run circles round them and shoot them a lot?

In my 1000 points game I'm planning to bring a lance Ravager and Razorwing. Coupled with Mandrakes.

I'd try to kill the grinder as fast as possible then stay at 24 inches and shoot the rest.

Yes, I was thinking the soul grinder would be the priority, T7 W14 it's going to be quite a job to kill though, what would be best for it? Lancer Ravager? I could always pretend one of my Raiders is a Ravager

You'll need more than one Ravager to get rid of it fast enough I guess.
Voidraven and Ravager combined might do the trick if you use your command points too.

That's a good point, I had forgotten about CPs. Would you say its still worth having blasterborn? I'm thinking for picking off bloodcrushers, or is there a more effective weapon for that now?

Blasterborn are still the old faithful - I'm currently running mine in venoms without the splinter cannon upgrade. Been MVP's for me so far!

The Voidraven and two units of blasterborn in your two venoms might be enough to deal with the soul grinder and if you find it isn't dying fast enough focus the venoms fire on it as well, "poison" wounds vehicles on a 6 now so there is the potential to take a couple wounds there ... Blaster or dark lance scourge might help too ... but if you are gonna take scourge against that list I would take them with 4 splinter cannons, twice the fire power at 36" as a venom and 24 shots at 18" which would probably do some damage to the blood crushers if they get to close but with the 14" movement and very very little shooting in that army kiting his units with scourge would be very very easy. How are you going to equip your Voidraven? Dark scythes or void lances and with or without missiles?
