I don't know how many of you use Photobucket to share images of your work, but I do, and I'm close to hitting a problem with them. THus, I thought I would share.
Photobucket have JUST changed their Terms Of Service to include:
- Quote :
Free account : Each individual Member gets one free account that provides 2 GB of free storage or space available for your original photo files, or videos under 10min. The free account does not allow any image linking or 3rd party image hosting. If a free account Member exceeds their Content Limit, their account will be immediately suspended and they will need to become a “Paying Member” (defined below) in order to continue accessing their account. You can upgrade to a Plus account at any time.

What this means is that they've lowered the basic account size, and are actively suspending any account which exceeds the limit and preventing them from sharing images, videos, etc.
You find all of your already shared images replaced with this:
THe new part here isn't necessarily the limit, but the active suspending of all third party sharing from accounts.
I'm letting you know because I've realised that after this change, I'm at about 85% useage on my Photobucket account. And at the rate I like to post about projects (because I AM an attention whore) I don't think that'll last long. So I'm having to look for alternatives (and probably redo any shared image links I have on this site......).
Just a warning in case any of you find yourselves in the same boat.
