| If you have a ton of Razorwing bases, you can do it too. Just bubble-wrap all day with cheap expendable crap. Brimstone Horrors is a great example of bubble-wrap too.
But for more elite armies that have units that actually matter, flyers/airborne are the only way I'm afraid.

| Yeah good call. Nice simple article by the way.
Yeah I am going to a 1650 tournament this weekend in Vancouver Canada. 1650 is a weird point limit, but I am OK with that for the first 8th ed tournament here. I am trying 2x10 Razorwing flocks and 2 Razorwing jet fighters for blocking. A 3rd fighter would be really nice, but I won't have that until i play 1850+. The hemlock all the way. It is such a good flyer

| Elite army does even less to Razor flocks tho..... GK's BA's, SW's they do more damage to fliers than 60 wound units that cost 1/3 the price and can tie them up.
I've been using Flocks as DS protection and turn 1 Ork charge counters sense day one and i love them.

| Lore wise it just seems so stupid. I just can't refrain myself to imagine some ork boyz talking on the battlefield.. "Hey guys we can't charge those gothic elves right there, because a plane just went above us in the sky". "Dammit Karl.." Anywayyy, thanks for the tip | |

| Think of them as 30ft in the air and not 100's of feet int he air like a jet. They cant reach it with there tiny arms and they dont want it to shoot them | |

| Yeah but i can't imagine them not charging DE in front of them, because a flyer is on top of them
"Duuuh where are they I can't see through that air underneath the plane" :')

| Jeah my opponent was also slightly less then amused initially. I said as soon as he would walk under the plane he would put his thrusters downwards and fry all the orks. this was the best explanation we came up with, but it seems weird you cannot walk under it. | |

| Well in all honesty... All models with fly should have the option to be Airborne, but no disembark or charge that turn... The fun we would have... | |
