Unfortunately, I don't own any Mandrakes. I didn't realize they did Mortal Wounds though. I could possibly get two squads painted up in time...

The plan is to have the Incubi Raiders Advance T1, and hopefully disgorge the Incubi to attack T2. (A charge is unlikely T1, and I'm leery of losing guys to seatbelt deaths even when it is...)

The Warrior Raiders will do a little light blocking duty if Deep Strike is a threat to the Ravs, or just drifting gunboat duty otherwise.

how do you deal with a double land raider list, multiple monoliths, guard/marine tank spam, knights, etc. what im saying is you are relying entirely on a single reaper, 4 blasters and the hope that you can roll enough 5+s to wound to kill every kind of tank out there... in which case you may as well be praying to the RNGesus harder than the pope to the other guy.

it will however tear any and every low model elite styled list a new one. the tau commander spam list for example will be horrendously ruined by this.
should do well against most horde lists as well.

Dissies are as good as Dark Lances against T8 (they are slightly better, in fact), so no, he won't have a problem with land raiders.
And against a necron Quantum shielding spam, he will be able to do what DL spam will never achieve : kill them.

that depends on the save of the unit a 3+ and its really close the lances more likely to do any damage but less consistent amounts of damage. 2+ save and the lances have a 42%(could be 34% its late im not gonna lie im tired as hell they could both be wrong /shrug) chance to do egual or higher than the probable 4 damage the dissies do.

but against t6/7 though id put lances over dissies.

its the higher potential damage over the more middling sustained i prefer with lances
