| So this is my idea for my first try in 8th edition
Drazhar Haemonculus- stinger pistol
2 units of ten kabalites with splinter cannon 9 wracks 9 incubi 10 mandrakes 10 scourges with 4 dark lances 3 ravagers 4 raiders
All squads except scourges and mandrakes go in a raider with Drazhar with incubus and haem with wracks. Mandrakes deep strike.
I'm looking for suggestions on heavy weapons load out. I love my boats ⛵️ cheers

| Scourges are meh with DL unless you want to use them as snipers, im switching mine to blasters for dev squad hunting
if those kab are in raiders the splinter cannon is pretty meh, its not much more firepower for what you pay.
give the wracks ossefactor, i like that one, or even an agoniser to that hammy
Unless you want the mandrakes together for the sake of kill points or avoiding a nasty CC interrupt, id take two squads of 5 for flexibility and the extra attack from 2nd sgt

| I'd run the warriors bare, dark lances on raiders and use the points for wrack and hammy upgrades
If you switch scourges to blasters, you could kit out a cool solarite so they could fly in, shoot and finish enemies in assault. It'd be more thematic than strategic for sure

| I've tried putting dark lances on Kabalite warriors, and it worked wonders for me. I recommend it ! | |

| So Drazhar is good on paper, but his bonus to the Incubi is moot at turn 3. He's also mad expensive. For his points, you're better off taking more Incubi, as mathematically they'll do better.
Also, if you want anti-infantry shooting, a squad of 5 Trueborn with 2 Splinter cannons in a Venom is cheaper and puts out more shots than a squad of 10 warriors with 1 cannon.
Those points you'll save from the changes will let you get some meaningful upgrades - Ossefactor on the Wracks (best MEQ killer in the game right now for its points), Electrocorrosive Whip on the Haemy and Acothyst. If you need to fill out your troops, Wyches are great for tarpitting big scary things with few attacks, like daemon princes or whatever. Or the standard 5 warriors w/ 1 Blaster in a Venom is still good, as you can split fire and drop them off on an objective late game if needed.
