So a bit of a revisit of a list I posted a while ago. Not entirely sold on the Reavers yet, but they have their uses and I like the big amount of area denial they can give vs Deep striking units, can help to wrap my vehicles against early charges and if I can give them +1 attack (depends on the match up really) they actually do hit pretty hard. I feel like we don't really have any other units that are as well rounded, though this obviously comes at great cost. Haemonculus is warlord and chills with the Wracks trying to snipe commisars etc. Comment and critique away!

Have you had any experience fielding Reavers yet? I really Iike the idea behind them and I love the sheer speed and that playstyle but I feel like they'll eat it pretty fast. I would dump the Hexrifles and give the Trueborn Blasters.

See without the Hexrifles I feel like the unit loses its purpose, as the idea was to be able to sit back and snipe. I've been tinkering about with it, originally I was using liquifiers and using them as a close combat orientated sqaud, but I fell out of love with that fairly fast. I might end up dropping both the Haeme and the Wracks, although I do think the Haemonculus is great, just unsure how to run them as of yet.

As far as the blasters are concerned, I thought I needed more anti Horde in the list which was why I opted for the splinter cannons, but considering my next point that should be less of an issue.

Haven't got any real experience with Reavers yet, I know the general consensus seems to be that they're a lot of points, but I feel like they have a place. I actually did some tinkering and made another list that uses a Succubus and some Wyches instead which I feel might work slightly better, as it will help the Incubi out by keeping them in combat and then hopefully I'll have less trouble from commisars etc without the need for a 'sniper' unit. Also hopefully takes the over reliance off of the Reavers to do work against the likes of conscripts etc.
So swap the Haemonculus and the Wracks for the following:

Succubus
-Blast pistol
Total : 82

8 Wyches
-Hydra Gauntlets
-Power Sword
-Raider
-Dark lance
-Shock prow
Total : 194

I'll put +1 strength on the Wyches, +1 toughness or +1 attack on the bikes and Then the one I didn't pick on the Succubus(or maybe +2 move for character Assassination). Archon will probably assume the mantle of Warlord in this list. The way the Wyche unit is structured it would allow me to put the Archon in with the Wyches and the Succubus, and move the Incubi to a Venom. Which would let me add a blast pistol to the Hekatrix, swap the Archons blast pistol out for a Blaster and have 20 points to play with for other upgrades. Thoughts?

Going off what you said about Blasters, I had another idea about changing my Venom sqauds over to Raider sqauds. It doesn't radically change the list, just adds more bodies, blasters and lances at the expense of Venom fire. The list would look something like this:

The reason for the cannons on the Razorwings was because it should hopefully let them sit back a bit further from infantry, although if you can find a better way to use the 30 points I'd love to hear it.
