Seconded. PGLs are auto takes for Kabal units. I've been very impressed with them so far. I would be concerned with how many points the Ravager takes up and have a compromise that gives you a few more bodies and similar amount of anti tank.
Patrol
HQ
Archon
- Agoniser
- PGL
- Blaster
Total : 76
Troops
X2 5 Kabalites
- Blaster
- Pgl
- Venom
Total : 266
Auxiliary Support detachment
4 Trueborn
-X2 Blaster
-Agoniser
-Venom
Total: 158
Total: 500 points
Now obviously it's not a Ravager, but you get an extra two blasters. It was better before the changes to understrength units having to be an auxiliary detachment came in though.
Another option is something like this:
Patrol detachment
HQ
Archon
- Agoniser
- PGL
- Blaster
Total : 76
X2 5 Kabalites
- Blaster
- Venom
Total : 260
5 Kabalites
- Blast pistol
- Agoniser
- Raider
Total: 164
Total: 500 points
You get an extra CP compared to the last list and get a dark lance, but you lose the PGLs and the added fire of the 3rd Venom. A lot of what you face at 500 points will be heavily infantry focused lists, so I personally prefer the first list even if it looks a little unorthodox, but it's up to you.
EDIT: Completely missed out the fact that your Archon was on foot, which is not something I would recommend. It can be okay to footslog our characters in higher points when you have more stuff to bubble wrap them with, but I would always recommend putting them in a transport anyway especially at lower points costs. Definitely not a bad list especially for a first attempt though!
Edit the second: I think either your own list or either of the lists I specified are reasonable to start and grow a force. Although IMO the second I made is probably better for someone just starting out, as it focuses on getting basic Troops and transports, which is the Dark eldar bread and butter. Ravagers will serve you well at 750 and onwards, but the transports and Kabalites are invaluable IMO. To keep costs down you should check ebay and buy and sell pages regularly. We aren't the most popular army, so it can be easy enough to save a bit of money here and there if you're thrifty especially when you're starting out and a lot of different bundles of units are going to be useful for you. Alternatively if you want to get brand new stuff, you could get a start collecting dark eldar, a box of Kabalite warriors and two Venoms. That gives you everything you need for either of rhe lists I mentioned + 5 Kabalites spare for going forward. The start collecting box essentially gets you 3 free Reavers and some money off the rest of the stuff in the box, which is honesty quite good to start out!
