Farseer Skyrunner in an otherwise pure Drukhari list

Hey guys, I was wondering what you guys think about running a Farseer Skyrunner with doom and smite in an otherwise pure drukhari 2k list? Is doom really worth going anti fluff and in my particular wych cult list I had to give up 3 blast pistols off my wyches, 2 dissie cannons off my raiders, and the missles off my two voidravens in order to be able to replace a succubus with him.

Right now it doesn´t matter. But when our codex drops, you could get trouble because you could not use Drukhari nor Craftworld strategems

Right now it's definitely worth it. We can reexamine the issue if and when we get 'real' 8e army books.

I play one but it does pain me a little bit. I don't think Drukhari specific conversions for like a Drukhariesque psyker make me feel better about it either, it just feels wrong.

BUT I've thought: hey I'll include Harlequins too to justify the gap being bridged, as if the Farseer has asked the Harlies to escort him to Commorragh or a neutral ground to parley with the Drukhari for a specific set of tasks.

It's basically not unbelievable that any Aeldari could operate together under the right circumstances but if you're old school and remember the old lore where we pointedly loathed each other it's just tough to get with the times.

fluff wise I justified it by the farseer being exiled from his craftworld so like Yvraine he went to Commorragh and joined a cult/kabal.

Doom meshes very well with DE, actually helps Splinter Weaponry with low toughness models, meaning a Splinter Cannon will kill two Guardsmen. I've had luck casting it on huge hordes, then watching them crumble.

A renegade Dark Eldar who's ostracized for his use of psychic powers, and rides a machine to enhance his mobility? Ridiculous! What kind of unfluffy nonsense would that be?!

Do stratagems require that your army be pure DE or pure CWE?

Strategems that say Word Bearers can only be used if you play Word Bearers. That´s how I understood it.

Hmm, that's rather depressing.

Ohh well if all else fails I can always sub the succubus back into the army if that is the case

Will works even better into an Ynnari list, where killing off units is your best clue.
