2k list yanari

thought ideas i played this list to try the flocks they still seem good and playable to me.

would love to hear sugestions. this is also the fist time i use wrroirs in units of 20. seemed good when soul bursted

Only 2 lances? Might have trouble with land raiders / knights.

The wind riders are a great use of soulburst. I like to run a unit of 9 with the farseer to buff them. 27-81 s6 shots a turn, rerolling miss's, and rending on 6's that you can split fire. Just need to keep them bubble wrapped from 1st turn charges and out of sight.

I played it against a necron list with a monolith and 2 flyers. Seemed to do ok. Maybe should have a few more. I was hoping the yncarne and the wraithguards could pull that wieght. Idk u think I should add a few more? Flocks I thought could even help take big stuff and be fooder.

I'd combine the wych squads into a single 10 man squad so you can get an extra hydra gauntlet. I'm not sure that I'm reading this right but it appears that kabalite squad is footslogging it, and with our open topped transports this is almost never a good idea. I'd also recommend getting more anti armor, since this is a ynnari list I'd personally take dark reapers since they can benefit from strength from death unlike our vehicles, and their reaper launchers are arguably better than our lances/dissie cannons. I'd say the best place to shave off points would be to reduce the number of flocks you have. From what I hear once you get past 5-6 a squad its mostly overkill.

Wyches squads are separate so that I get and agonizer instead. Also for the battalion. K warriors 8 don't typically put in a large squad but I think it works better due to soul burst. Reapers I like don't have any atm. Maybe should replace the ravager with them.

so i have been playing hydra gauntlets wrong sine the beginning of the age. still think is decent to have 2 units of them. to tie down 2 things. I have still been playing this list and still think the birds are good. no easy to deal with rerolls are insane. I do need some better firpower though. was thinking about cutting the windriders, ravager, and 2 lance with 2 splinter rifles, and a squad of 10 dark reavers.
i do like the windriders though tough call. also not sure on gaze of ynnead, ancestors grace might be better.

I would say the best options to get anti tank firepower in a ynnari list would be to include dark reapers or something from the dark eldar faction because I believe dark light is the best AT fire power any aelderi faction has. So I'd definitely include the ravager you already have, maybe give it dark lances instead. However, I'd definitely find a way to fit in some dark reapers, another ravager, one of the two planes, or even scourges with dark lances. I'd honestly say the best thing to do would be to replace the windriders or some flocks.

im not apposed to getting rid of the flocks but then i feel like the list changes and idk if a beastmaster is worth it for just 1 squad of 12.  as much as i like the wndriders i guess they need to go. i could try and throw ing a voidraven bomber or fighter in. 10 drk reapers are pretty pricy (point wise) but i feel like they would get the job done i like scouges with dl as well

You could concider to drop the batallion all together and run a spearhead for example. Kabalites are maybe decent but if you do have dark reapers they are beast with soulburst. A cheap warlock could give the whole group conceal but then you should run Yvraine instaid of Ynarne since you can have her in the same wave serpent and you always have an insane alpha strike with the dark reapers if you have them.

I defenitive recommend ravangers or reapers. VR bomber is great as well. If you have the hemlock or RWJ are both very good as well.

But its also nothing wrong with some kabalites sitting around somewhere to get killed for soulburst actions.

so after playing around with it i was goon cut the ravager and the windriders for 3 dark reapers and a void raven w/ 2 dark sythes and voidraven missiles. that leaves me with 15 points left i kinda wish i could add more dark reapers maybe siwthc the dissy for a lance on the raider? As for the group of 20 warriors they have done serious work letting me soulburst the whole squad on a doomed target. and i can chain them to hold multiple objectives all at once. they kinda fill the flocks role as well as acting like fodder and mass attacks.
