Some of the details are quite interesting, in that if they DID go through, they'd do MASSIVE damage to GW. Part of the case argues that GW doesn't own a large amount of its own IP, which is the core of what GW stands on. The case actually argues that GW don't own Space Marines, because Starship Troopers (novel), or Tyranids because Alien/Giger, or most of Fantasy because Tolkien. And the case is surprisingly well sourced.
At the very least it can do massive damage to GW's trading in the US.

Old. News. I remember when this first came up. I thought the general view of the whole thing is that it probably isn't going to end in the favor of the guy suing. He's representin himself and the many of the things he's suing for have already been delta with. I.E. the name space marine doesn't even exist in the way that they are adepts astartes.
