| Alright I'm sorry if this doesn't belong here but I just wanted to ruin everyone else's lives the way mine has just been ruined.
Drew Carey.
Drukhari.
Drew Carey.
Drukhari.
Drew Carey.
Is this the twisted madness the great tyrant has stooped to to keep us minions beneath his heel?

| At least it isn't related to dog with spots...
I've pronounced it Dru-Ka-Ri. Which constantly makes me think of Drucharis from GoT, which is a lot better than your word association

| I wonder if these name changes affect GW's sales. It's certainly a lot harder to Google "Astra Militarium" (I can't even spell it right) than "Imperial Guard."
I'm not particularly concerned with copyright, so I'll just keep on calling them Dark Eldar.

| No idea.
Dark Eldar is nice, but Eladrith Ynneas is best.
I've found Drew-Car-Eye to have a nice ring to it. When compared to Ynnari.

| Ynnari for me are "Yn-ar-ri" which rings like my "Drew-ka-ri"
How do you say Ynnari? | |

| Well the official way to say it is "In-Are-ee" Alongside "In-Ee-Ad", "Iv-Rain" and "In-Car-Nay".
I say it "Yin-Are-Ee", "Yinn-Ee-Ad", "Yiv-Rain" and "Yin-Car-Nay".
That extra syllable really says something.

| Battle reports I watch pronounce it like "harpy" without the p and not like "scary" or "carey". Everyone I know just calls them Dark Eldar. I'm not particularly bothered.
We're now even more obviously space dark elves because rather than Dark Elves -> Dark Eldar it's now Druchii -> Drukhari. Which is surprisingly close to the original rendering of dark elves as "dökkálfar" in old Norse mythology.

| I always said the Y in Ynnead, Ynnari, Yvraine (etc) as a hard Y (as in yellow). | |
