Pirates on Tour-nament 850 pts.

Hello dear community members,

I´m new to this platform. Im looking forward to meet new people and learn more about those edgy and most deadly Drukhari. I started Warhammer 40k with Eldar in 7th Edition and as 8th Edition released I quickly swayed over to Drukhari / Ynnari, because of obvious reasons (one of those is the cost / performance ratio with Eldar).
So everything came together last Sunday: I had enough points and a quiet good list to partake in a local tournament. Unfortunately I didn´t performed as good as I wished. My Drukhari simply got torn apart by Rowboat Sillyman and his Razor-Spam-Tank, a Adeptus Mechanicus List with Castellan Spam and a dirty Necron List suited specially against Robot Hillybam. So I was on the lose end of the rope and got last position in the ranking.
Nevertheless I learned a lot and went home with a pack of dices (reward for last rank) and new ideas.

There will be a 850 Points Tournament next month and I´d like to participate with my Drukhari. I rearranged my thoughts and ideas on how to play my Pirate and I´d like to share what I came up with.
I would be most pleased if you people had anything to say on this matter.

Only Patrol Detachment is allowed. I have 3 drops and should thereby get the +1 to the roll off. My Plan ist to keep distance and shoot high threat targets first. Later I´d go in for the kill with Blaster and Splinter Weapons.

Isn´t there anything to say about my unit composition?

On paper, this looks to me like you've got too many eggs in too few baskets. Raiders aren't that tough and all three of them could get wiped out in a single turn if your enemy had lucky rolls or a lot of anti-tank weaponry, leaving your (expensive!) infantry units very vulnerable.

I'd also suggest that mixing Blasters and Dark Lances in a single unit isn't great, since the ranges differ so much.

If you want to stick with three Raiders, maybe consider something like this;

That gives you more bodies and more boats, letting you spread your threats out slightly more.

Thank you very much for your input. Since I most likely expect to play up against many Space Marines, my plan is to soften the enemy lines from a distance for at least 2 rounds of shooting. Therefore isn´t it best to bring as many Dark Lances as possible?

I don´t necessarily need to stick to the Raider; I do have 6 Venoms. It is a easy way to get a Dark Lance with a Raider.
