| Well, I have decided I shall go to my local GW tomorrow who are playing 500pts games all day. The focus is Necrons so that will be the general meta. I think I may see a lot of Imotekh and everything else that is released that day. What are peoples thoughts on a killy 500 list? I can use pretty much everything from the codex but I know my theme may have to slide away, ie no Duke. Ravager > Razorwing? Lots of venom fire? Wyches should chew Necrons up quite nicely. Maybe 5 man squads in Venoms with an Agoniser? Do Night Shields work even better in 500pts? Start up the Bat, I mean Thor signal...  | |

| I don't know what to expect from new Necrons but they seem to have lots of nasty stuff... that come with three digit prices. IMHO Venoms + Ago Wyches are indeed way to go. since You shoud fight weaksauce Troops and (maybe) 1 CC capable squad.
NS may be good buy, You can assault him from 12"+3"+d6"+6", that about 22"-27" so he must have ~30"+ range if You play correctly.
You should wait for Gobsmakked input, he have their book. | |

Ravager has Dark Lances and all the Venoms have additional Splinter Cannons. I am sure I have seen the exact same list on our forum before but I feel it is strong. Can anyone think of anything more interesting? | |

| I can all but gaurantee you you won't find more than one transport in a 500 pt Necron army. For my money against small necron armies, I'm going to spam splinter. If only I didn't have to take HQs!
10 Warriors, Raider, Night shield, Splinter racks
9 Warriors, Raider, Night Shield, Splinter racks
Haem
Ravager, Night Shield
5 DL to pop any transport they do bring, otherwise, get blastin!
By concentrating fire, you should drop a squad in a turn, have fun! | |
