GW box Scourge paint guide?

Hi everyone,

I'm interested in using the color scheme of the scourges as they appear on GW's box as a launch point for my army. I can't find the paints list or instructions on GW's youtube channel, or on their site. I thought perhaps an old White Dwarf might cover it, but so far, can't find it.

Does anyone know if such a guide exists? Thanks for your time.

Usually on the official GW website, if you scroll down there are a suggestion of paints (or bundles) that correspond to the miniatures.

You can also download the Citadel app, there are a couple of dark eldars in it (at least a kabalite warrior & a wych, for sure) and the schemes are pretty similar.

For the wings take reference on any wings paintings (citadel app) or on official GW painting channel

Raiders of Commoragh the paint guide had a good guide for painting the wings with a simple dry brush technique. Although I think that book is out of print you may be able to find a pdf online somewhere.

Lol, I have been on the GW site a million times, and at some point I must have noticed the paints and thought "Eh, look, they're trying to upsell me on these paints" and scrolled past. I've never noticed them since, haha. Picked up the Dark Eldar set today to experiment on an old Privateer Press model.

I live in an apartment and unfortunately, I don't have access to a place where I can airbrush. I just tried hand-priming for the first time and was vaguely horrified by how long it took and how hand-done the coat appears. At any rate, I'll soldier on and report back...

You can still use Primer in vast areas, even if closed. I used to do this in the common garage.

For airbrush, sometimes sellers provides them free to use (got à "Waaaagh tavern" in france who let us use them airbrush). Get intel on your local miniatures sellers
