ITC 2K Alliance of Agony

I got second place Saturday at a ITC tournament that involved 15-16 players at Game Empire.

First round I made  a few major mistakes because I forgot some of the Eldar combos and adjusting to the ITC format (been playing regular all month so I forgot ITC rules) and did not make nearly as many points as I should have.  After my first game blunder I ended up racking up so many points that I took second place by the end, and only 5 points from first place.

I have been practicing all week, this is an extremely aggressive list that so far has been able to steam roll through other armies.  Really really fun.

Updated post: added points cost

Its should add up to exactly 2000 points and 105 power level.

Archon with base weaponry is 76 points 86 with blast pistol (not base)

And you had Dark Lances on the Ravagers, I swore it said DC for Diss cannon when I made it. that would do it thanks for the clarification.

Just remember Blast pistol is not base Archon splinter pistol is.

I forgot that I gave the Archon a blast pistol when I typed up this post last night.  Good eye.  Next time ill just take a picture of my list.

Did you march the wyches, grots, and taloi up the board? I don't see transports for them.

Grots started on foot (could start in webway but are a good unit to soak up shots) and marched their way across the board. The wracks and wyches sat on objectives. Between the grots 4++, pain engines 4++, and bikes (they cannot be ignored) most shot at those units and ignored the wracks and wyches and even the Kabalite units.

Then the Mandrakes come in and do Mandrake things.

How’d it play? I’d love to hear some about what gave you trouble, what worked etc. I’m running a similar list for an ITC tourney coming up soon.

All I will say is grotesques are very expensive models and after 6 years they are finally amazing.

Awesome! I’m running 2 units of 3 as part of my vanguard detachment. This is gonna be fun. I loved them in 7th.
