GW finally said AOV stratagem is for BH only

Is the final ruling basically that you need a detachment to unlock any subfaction-specific faction?

Like I need an Obsidian Rose Detachment in order to use the Obsidian Rose specific stratagem? It's not sufficient to have an Obsidian Rose unit in a mixed/soup detachment?

Obsidian Rose stratagem specifies that it is used on an Obsidian Rose unit. Therefore, without one it is pretty pointless.

Here's an example for some better context:

I have a detachment that only shares the keyword "Aeldari" for example. There's some Harlequins in there, Craftworlders, and a unit of Kabalites that I have designated as Obsidian Rose.

Even though this detachment is NOT an Obisidian Rose detachment, can that specific unit of Kabalites still use the Obsidian Rose Stratagem?

You can't form detachments with the aeldari keyword anymore. Not sure how a mixed Drukhari detachment would work if it contained cult, covens and kabal. Obviously they don't get obsessions, but presumably they still get a kabal keyword. I don't know if that opens up the obsidian rose stratagem though or if it needs to be a pure detachment.
