Thoughts on this 8th edition list.

Place grots with HQs as a wound tanking unit, drop everything else turn one starting with ravagers for busting transports then split fire EVERYTHING! starting with heavies and mobile units.

If I don't table my opponent on turn 1 trot out the grot squad. Let the enemy play slay the warlord while I play table the enemy. Get in combat any chance I get to take advantage of soul thirst and Parasite's kiss. Heal grots 2x with Fleshcraft when wounds reach 2 or 1.

Your list has a bit of a problem.

If you've set this up as a Brigade, then you won't get any Obsessions.
You only get an Obsession if your Detachment is Kabal, Coven or Cult. NOT if they are a mix of the three.
So although it IS a legal list, you will be missing out on some of the better rules that make Drukhari armies work.

I'm aware. I just don't have a fix for that. Alliance of Agony is the basis for my fire magnet.
I need to survive if my opponent moves first. Any thoughts?

You can't give the Haemonculus 2 artifacts, they have to go to different characters. Also, as Squidmaster said, you're losing out on some of the best benefits of DE armies by not having obsessions. Drop the 3rd Scourge squad, which you're presumably only taking to fill out FA slots in your brigade. Use the points to buy a unit of Wracks and make the Wracks, Haem and Grots into a Coven patrol. Swap Succubus for a second Archon and make everything else into a Kabal battallion. That also saves you 2CP from Prizes from the Dark City.

With some manipulation of your list, you could actually make it into 2 batallions to get you 10 CP anyway.

You'd be swapping out 3 squads of Kablalites for 3 squads of wracks. But you'll need to drop/manipulate some other things to get in under the 1500 pts.

Likely dropping one of your 3 raiders, and possibly either 1 ravager or the mandrakes.

I generally like dissintigrator cannons on my ravagers, and if you swap all three DL on all your ravagers it will save you considerable points.
