| A random thought occurred to me during a discussion about the Dais of Derpstruction. I ust want to bounce it off everyone to see their thoughts. I'm pretty sure this is legal but would appreciate anyone who could poke a hole in it if they think it isn't.
Force Org:
HQ Vect -Dais
Troop 9 Wyches -Raider
10 Wyches -Raider
Is the above, representing every single model and upgrade in the army a legal force org? I think it is, and though it's hardly a write home to momma moment, it's an interestng thought I'd never had before about getting more skimmers on the table.

| Is the unit of 9 wyches mounted with vect in the dais? I dont know about mounting a unit in a 'diffrent' transport other than there dedicated one. At the least I dont think you could hold them in reserve like that. | |

| Nothing that I know of says that a unit has to start in their dedicated transport. And Ive seen BA players do this to get their DC/AS into a SR instead of their own purchased rhino. | |

Yes, by definition to have a legal dais the 9 Wyches join Vect. I think this is legal as far as both deployment and reserves go. The only rule with Dedicated Transports I'm aware of is that, when you deploy it (either in reserve or on the table) if it has a unit inside of it, it has to be the unit that bought it. So as long as the extra Raider is empty - no worries.

| Then that sounds like a good idea. Having extra raiders darting around would be a good destraction and some AT added in. When I run vect I take 8 wracks and a haemonculi. Those two extra pain tokens are fun with vect, not that you realy need Furious Charge. | |

| This is similar to IG, isn't it?
Hq's and other units purchase their dedicated transports seperately. When joined, which transport they may deploy in is determined by pg 67 of the brb or is trumped by the codex, the other transport will be deployed empty.
looks right to me. | |

| Looks sound to me. But if I wanted another vehicle I'd prolly turn to the Court first. | |

| Well...yeah. But it is an option if there's ever a situation where you want the Dais. | |

Does it count as a list if you only have one entry?

| The group I run has been playing 1000 pt games for the last month or two and in every game I have run Vect and his Dais, I have never lost with him. I enjoy having a well armored ravager holding a cold blooded killer. Fun Fun. | |

| That's basically half your army at 1000, why not just buy 3 Ravagers and save points? | |

| Because I only have one ravager model. I am running the list out of necessity, however it is still working exceptionally well. I am getting a battle-force, a razor-wing and venom by the new year so I will hopefully be running something else without vect in it. Until then I am having a fun. | |
