Planning to screen out his Sang Guard and Death Company with the wyches (he always gets first turn against me!) and counter punch with the Hellions, while the reavers move up to speed bump the rest of his forces then simple ground and pound the rest with Kabal.

11cp after strats for relics and WL traits, mainly trying to see how the Yncarne stands up these days.

My understanding is that if you include any Ynnari in a detachment, that detachment loses Obsessions - so your first battalion would also be a Ynnari detachment rather than a Black Heart one.

You have almost no anti tank outside of the Yncarne getting stuck in.

That said if he's only loading up on marines without any Knight support, you're fine, and you probably auto-win since marines are trash right now.

It's actually optional. You can keep it as whatever Aeldari fraction you want, or you can go ynarri.

So his list is;

Sanguinary Priest
Slam Captain with ignore Overwatch

4× 10 Tacticals; plasma combiplasma missile launcher

So hes gone a lot more armour than usual!

Outcome: Close Victory!
Yncarne did amazing, escaping death two turns in a row and killing near 600pts of predators, Razorbacks and marines on it's own.
Hellions were trash, died without doing anything and probably the reason the game was so close. Would have rather had 210pts more of wyches or another Ravager and two big squads of wyches deepstriking.
Ravagers I deepstruck and they didn't disappoint, shredded marines from the flank while Yncarne disrupted and destroyed and teleported away when my opponent finished off a squad on an objective.

Overall the list felt like I could have dropped Yvraine, not to invest so much on Archons (both failed their first shadowfield and died without killing a single thing, despite both getting the charge off).

Yeah, Archons are excellent at disappointing you if you try make them combat beasts; I find them best as slight deterrents and walking auras.

Hellions are just disappointing in general - so no surprises there.

It's pleasing to hear the Yncarne did some work - and @sekac I see that you're right - I missed that the first time I was reading the index. Super stoked to have another HQ option in the Kabal arsenal - especially since it seems to be performing well in lists
