RIP Trueborn and Bloodbrides

The transport capacity isn't going to change, it's been the way it has been since 3rd edition. Yeah it's a pain but it really is something that's not that hard to work around. Time we just settled for what it is.

The thing to complain about isn't transport capacity, it's minimum unit sizes. Even in 7th edition Incubi and Mandrakes had a minimum unit size of three, so could easily fit in a Venom next to a couple of HQ choices. Back in 5th that was true for Wracks, Trueborn and Bloodbrides as well!

Back in 3rd, HQs could take Skyboards and Jetbikes and so weren't completely reliant on transports for mobility.

Right just in 3rd, then 5th onward that went away so doesn't mean a whole lot.
