| So Lady Malys is wondering through the webway, when a cloaked figure of light challengers her to a game of intellect betting there own hearts. Malys wins and cuts her own heart out and exchanges it for the figure of light's heart. This gives her powers against psykers and to a certain degree she can tell the future. So, just to see how others feel about this potential fluff-bomb. Is it the Deciever manipulating Malys and potentially steering the course of Commorragh to a state where the C'tan can feast on more Eldar Souls? Or is it something else... | |

| I'll admit I'm not totally up on the new Necron fluff, but isn't the Deceiver kinda smashed up and non-relevant to them now? _________________ The Title Troupe! - Nom fellow posters for custom titles. | |

| Something like that, but the thing about the Deceiver is that he deceives... what if its a way for him to seize power again and he still has a part to play? _________________ Delicious and Coven-Baked for your Pleasure

| Maybe - though why/how would he have a crystal heart. He's pure energy in liquid metal, yes? If we think this is some sort of strange deceit plot I'd tend to lean more towards it being a certain Laughing God then a C'Tan. _________________ The Title Troupe! - Nom fellow posters for custom titles. | |

| I thought I heard somewhere that it was Cegorach; the laughing god of the Harlequins? And yes to keep up with current Necron fluff I believe all of the star gods have been shattered. | |

| Seeing as how the Newcron's C'tans are all shattered and enslaved, I doubt it. _________________ Forum Rules, please read. Dark City Mod Squad ahahahahha. I'm the nicest moderator. Don't think so? AHAHAHHAHHAHA! Don't make me ban you! AHAHAHHAHAHA

| The laughing god thing does make more sense, not up to date with Necrons just thought it would be cool _________________ Delicious and Coven-Baked for your Pleasure

| Yup, pretty sure its Cegorach, the description bears similarities, and it would explain her abilities. | |

| Personally, it's far more likely that it's the Laughing God, as we do know the Harlequins have a "terrifying" plan to save the Eldar species, and Malys has her intentions to overthrow Vect, and 'control' the Dark Eldar. _________________ It's our galaxy, you just die in it...

| It is Cegorach, but then again who knows with GW. As for the Deciever, he is still around, and with the new Cron fluff apearantly the only Ctan still rocking himself at full strength. The only reason they now call his model a "shard of the Deciever" is why would they sculpt a new model when they could re-use an old one But the new cron fluff is weird, as they reconned all of the old stuff, but left an opening for it to still exist as well... Basically how I can best describe it is that the Deciever and Nightbringer woke the ones that stayed loyal to them first, and now the rest of the Crons are up and moving. They kept it open for the Deciever and Nightbringer to be around. _________________ Status: Usurping Kabal leadership for his Patriarch

From Codex: Necrons (5e) pg 7: "each C'tan was sundered into thousands of fragments" pg 40: "C'tan shards are all that remain of the once mighty star gods" pg 40: "there might be four C'tan, four thousand or any number in between" There might still be some C'tan around (I myself am hoping that the Void Dragon is still lurking around mars) there is no mention of which C'tan, if any, are still whole. There is no mention of the Deceiver or the NIghtbringer (specifically) still being around in their whole form. _________________ Forum Rules, please read. Dark City Mod Squad ahahahahha.
