I love the Lhamaean model as well. I use them as haemonculi in my army because I don't think I'll ever use the Court of the Archon.

A beautiful model deserves a beautiful paint job, I haven't seen her painted like that before and it's really refreshing.

What other colours will be going on there?

dark silver in place of gold on the GW picture, plus blue / violet details (to match her make-up you know
of course the dress is going to be blended more smoothly

the only problem is the knife she holds in her right hand - it's neither beautiful nor dark-eldar style and in general I'd get rid of it and replace it with some more delicate and better looking weapon...

Just noticed the stage 2 pic in the main thread, excellent! Looks like a real Ice Queen so far, much, much better than the original GW colour scheme.

Amazing facial details too, I couldn't do that if my life depended on it.

I wouldn't worry about the scabbard in her right hand. If you can change it, fine, but it's quite OK the way it is.

Thanks for the feedback - I'm quite happy with it too.
Now I'm trying to figure out a nice base that would add even more character to the model. I don't want it to be icy or snowy - it needs to be suitable for the rest of my army bases (this one is first).
Any suggestions?

Ace work Wilku. I like that You've used blue (instead of black) to shade white. It give some life to the mini.

I love Space Wolves Grey and Shadow Grey for shading white, and that is precisely what I used. Somehow I don't like the Dark Angels' robes style (white with brown), and black is just too dark for shading white.

Now I have to figure out a quick way to replicate this effect on my whole army...

that would look AWESOME You don't see many white DE armies shaded with a cool color. This looks damned nice.

looks great, though i feel like she's very washed out by the amount of very light colors.
