Because the entry in the codex specifically says how to use the bomb should be used I'd say no. It has nothing to do with the general rule for scattering.

It's a definite no here, because the void mine doesn't scatter like a normal blast weapon, but is moved, like told in the void mine rules.

Indeed, it's not rule from rulebook hence RAW (no BS modifers).

More specifically - since it's a unique scatter rule it is its own rule entry - you can't add rules from something that has nothing to do with it (normal scatter).

Beautifull to see how a backstabbing bunch like us can agree so nicely with eachother.

I used it twice in the tourney on the weekend - i found it highly situational but actually quite good!

I see it more as a "what if" weapon. Seriously though the whole reason you bought the oversized bird is for the lascannon lances anyway. Its kinda like a bonus, very situational and you will probably never use it, but that one time there is a nice group up of palies in front of you... it will be worth it
