Vehicle Fire arcs

Played a game this evening and had a discussion about the fire arcs on DE vehicles.

How do you guys play it? For example the splinter cannon mounted underneath the Venom looks like it can have a 360 arc, but does it? And is a raiders front lance only 45 degrees?

We didnt come to any clean cut answer, and if you dont place the gunner on the venom then the cannon effectively has a 360 arc too.
