Eldar Vote

I'm just putting up a quick poll to garner some more feedback about what people would like to see with the prospect of the addition of Eldar to the forum.

Seperate forum means exactly that, I will set up a new forum just for Eldar, based on the same format. Hopefully the forums would be linked by a hubpage too. I would do the initial admin work but take more of a backseat role compared to here.

Included in a small way. There would be an Eldar category with only a few subcategories, ie there would be a shared tactics and army list forum, painting logs, discussion, gallery would fall under one roof. This would get used a lot in my opinion but would be hard to advertise and would appear tacked on, yes Eldar are similar in many respects but this was set up purely as a Dark Eldar forum, would this sully us too much?

Included in a big way. The forum would be enlarged and have major sections for the Craftworld Eldar. There would be no need for an Eldar forum as it would all be under one roof. This is included as an option as it does make sense, however I am thoroughly against it.

Dark Eldar Only. For those against the addition of Eldar in any way to our forum.

This poll will remain up until the end of the weekend, then using this information and the discussions already held, a decision will be made.

Im kinda in the middle personally of the two includes. I think it should be a part of our site (well... because you just cant get rid of our cousins now can we ) but it only having a small catagory is kinda meh to me. I think it should have its own section (like the rest of GW stuff has its own section atm) and should include about the same amount of thread space (so we have tactics/army lists. Fluff/general discussion, conversion/painting. Maybe like that)

Thats exactly what the Eldar Subforum would look like:

ELDAR SUBFORUM
Eldar General/Background
Eldar Tactics/Army Lists
Eldar Painting/Plogs

I'm glad that option 3 has not come to be popular as that would really be against the spirit. Option 4 keeps with the spirit but if option 2 is what people want then we may come to see it.

Just because I would like to see "proppa" section. Not "big", just done right.

IMHO it would be good to have Plogs and WIPs/questions separate. But I'm ok with rest.

Lists + tactics seems like good idea for minor addition.
Same with Fluff and discussions.

well... you could always just open up blogs for both. Is that out of the question??? Im sure we probably wont have more CWE than DE anyway, but that is an idea

Sure, many DE have come from collecting Craftword Army.

In a small way like it is now is fine.

I think including it in a small way would mean the fewer people would actually use it.

I'd recommend a separate forum but with connected accounts, so that users here do not need to make a new account.

I haven't seen any Eldar Forums, and most 40k forums lump all the Xenos together.

The Infinity Circuit is now live and available for use. I have used all feedback given and through much council have decided that for now a small subsection in The Dark City would be best. However this may change in the future.
