I was quite sad not to finish my Haemonculus but he was recently removed from a list so wouldn't have made sense to paint him just yet. So, I've always liked Wyches, they were my favourite thing about the DE 12 years ago and they're still up there today. The Wyches I submit to you are a unit that I have been working on and off for a while, these are the earliest and only shots of them that I have (the Hekatrix on the left accompanies the unit).

I have tried to make every unit in my Sky Serpents army different to exaggerate the notion of different cults and kabals flocking to Duke's banner. These are the Cult of the TBA (you can help me decide on the name), a barbaric sect who's only quest is to hone their prowess against the deadliest opponents in the galaxy. By following Sliscus they constantly have access to the best drugs this side of Nightsound Ghulen and are the first through the webway on any realspace raid.

A great looking WIP progress. I see lots of attention to detail on the bases, and some good conversions. One thing I love seeing is the base work on the raiders/venoms/ravagers. Sadly so often they are left bare when so much can be done with them.

I am disappointed that the finished pictures were not posted up here. However I do realize that time is a slippery thing and am looking forward to seeing the final unit photos when they are completed. Hint hint

A slightly progressed WIP. I've figured out most of the final colors now so it's just a matter of getting paint to the models. All I need is time and light.


I am taking a short break from working on them to paint up a jetbike for the first round of the iron painter challenge. That's due March 5th so I should have plenty of time to finish these guys.

Making good progress on the squad now that round one of iron painter is finished. I think I've got most of my colors figured out for all the parts of the models.

Bah! Camera Problems. Finished, but no pictures; my battery's dead. I'll post to the main painting forum when I get it working again.

First Unit for my army, so lets see how it works out!

=Update=

Finished as much as i have time for. I still need to finish off the raider by adding runes and trophies, but its table worthy.
Basically i just ran out of time ^^ Also the raider guys eye glow will be changed to blue.

I also though the turf i used didnt have enough contrast, and i still havent recieved my new batch, which is why there is grass on only 1 base.

I will disqualify myself right now as this is a finished squad as I did not take any WIP pics. I will have to start getting in to the habit of doing that. Possible redemption is to be found in that I have not begun work on the Raider yet.

I'd like to enter the newest members to my Kabal/flesh Carnival (Tacit Tongue/Silence), The Wracks, but no conversions to speak of and considering I'm using them more of an escort for my Haemi, I'll wait for the next contest.(super run on sentence, but it was worth it)
