| Hi all!
My local GW is hosting a Kill Team campaign next month and I would like to compete with my DE. Since my army is a complete Wychcult, I was thinking about fielding the following:
- 4 Hekatrix Bloodbrides mounted in a Venom with an extra Splinter Canon and Chain-snares
- 3 Reavers with 1 Heat Lance
This should make up for exactly 200 pts
Why I picked it and the tactics behind it:
I picked Hekatrixes instead of regular Wyches because they have an extra attack. For those points I could field 5 Wyches with 5 attacks or 4 Hekatrixes with 8 attacks.
Idea is to flank any enemy armor with the bikes and use the heat lance to kill them at close range. At 200pts there won't be much armored stuff around so I figured 1 lance should be enough. The Venom can fire it's 12 shots to cripple any infantry before my Bloodbrides dismount and charge in the already crippled unit. 4 Brides when assaulting gives 16 attacks in total so with a bit of luck I can easily kill of a squad with them;)
I didn't pick any specialties since the campaign rules say that you have to earn your specialties when you progress through the campaign. Furthermore, the campaign is played in "the warp" so mutations can occur...
Any comments or suggestions are very welcome!

| I like it.
When I did a 200 point Kill Team I ran it with Wracks in Raiders and it worked really well, but I like how you're also thinking about using the raw speed of the DE. I think it will work out quite well for you and shock your opponents with how quickly you get in their faces.

| I tried out the list for the first time against a Blood Angels list IMHO a weaker list for killteam with only 3 Death Company guys and a Death Company dreadnought. I won the roll off so I went first. My Venom was able to fire 12 shots at the 3 marines in turn 1 killing all of them. In the mean while, my bikes flanked the dread and after 2 turns of kiting, the dread was wrecked | |

| It seems fine, I will admit its abit light on AT, as your only option is the Heat Lance. Any of the strong Kill Teams out there will make sure they die first to let their tanks be untouchable. Play smart with the reavers, and you should be fine.
Be careful of those that bring alot of AT (like mine- 5 TB in dual cannon venom w/ 2 DL, 1 Blaster, 2 Shard Carbines) because with the split fire rules and the ability to give two USR (I chose both Relentless and Slow and Purposeful for my DL, letting me move 6 and shoot everything) its easily to be down without an answer to their tank.

| I got ass whooped badly yesterday by a Kroot army :/ After a few rounds, I lost everything exept for 1 reaver... I only killed 4 of those guys!
Today I'll test them against Space Marines, let's hope that turns out better...

| The Kroot guy used 200pts of regular kroots, I think it was about 20 of them. I further tested my list and it failed over and over again :/
Tonight I tried Shadow Revenge's list and unfortunattely it didn't manage to kick ass either, although it was a close call... 1 match against 8 sternguard marines, I killed 7 before my venom exploded and 1 match against some eldars which I almost won as well:)

I further tested my list and it failed over and over again :/ Were you playing like a Dark Eldar or were you playing fair? Because playing like a Dark Eldar I have no idea how that army could beat you. They are 24" range rapid fire. You are 36" range. The first few rounds should have just been you shooting the Kroot with total impunity to whittle down their numbers before assaulting in once you cut them down to somewhere around 10 when the Bloodbrides should be able to handle them - especially with the RJBs helping out. On the assault - RJBs and Bloodbrides vs. Kroot; Bloodbrides strike first - 20 attacks, 10 hits, 5 wounds RJBs strike next - 9 attacks, 4.5 hits, 2.25 wounds. That's basically 6 dead Kroot before they even get to swing - and it also doesn't account for Drugs which will likely make the killing even easier. Could you give a brief idea of your tactics versus these armies? Because I don't think your list is weak, but I'm suspicious you're playing nice - and just rushing forward at the opponent shooting and not using your speed and mobility as an advantage - and that's half the power of our codex.
