They also shifted around the fluff of what even maybe was or wasn't Wych Cult, which was annoying. Hellions became gangs and Reavers became...some sort of nebulous arena but maybe not Wyches thing. It was simpler back then.

Yup... the old "Kabal, Cult, Coven" triad worked so well

Nowadays we have Kabals, Cults, Coven, Shrines, Gangs, Murders (whatever a scourge group is called), and Reavers... gangs I guess...

That's true, both of them make up elite slots, as well so that would probably prove more accurate actually...

I think that would be an embarrassing matchup for the Bloodbrides in all honesty, functionally they would have less wounds and about a tiny uptick in number of attacks as compared the regular Wyches but would loss attacks more quickly as they took wounds.

Which means Old Wyches would kill them easier.
And would be cheaper.
And would still have better wargear and special rules.

Edit: To make it clear, Old Wyches got better the fancier/tougher their opponents were, because they shut down special advantages - so the less advantages you had the less Old Wyches gakked with you. They loved fighting Elite war machines, they hated fighting mook hordes.
