| The UKs "Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked)" has 8 variants built on one hull. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CVR%28T%29 Light Tank, ATGM Carrier, APC, Ambulance, CnC, Engineering, another light tank and another light tank. Not to mention the base platform was extended to make two more variants, one for anti air and the other as a minelayer. | |

Interesting link, thanks! My new DE army is only just getting paint, but I am using Army Painter's "Pure Red" undercoat, so my Ravager already looks magnificent! In bright, pillar box red the vehicle leaps off the table, and the outrigged gunners are unmissable. I don't intend to use the sails, as I don't like the concept, so my Ravs and Raiders should be easily identifiable. | |

| I sort of like the unified look. I do think it fits more of a 'futuristic' theme. Lets face it... These vehicles are being mass produced for war. And not mass produced like we think of it now..but mass produced as in...entire worlds being committed to producing these things. So its not unlikely that the base of the vehicles are the same. That would save a lot of time and resources | |

| Ha! I just read this thread this morning and thought 'Wow. Neither I nor anyone I've ever played has had any trouble in distinguishing Raiders from Ravagers. Weird. But while my mind is on it, lets go ahead and open up my latest discountgamesstore package and get to putting my new Ravager together'. I get my workspace cleared, tools and glue at the ready, open the package, and... Raider. This is in no way a dig at the supplier or their service. I will continue to order from them and am sure that they'll make it right post haste. I just thought that the timing and nature of the error was hilarious. | |

| To be quite honest, if your opponent asks just tell them that the ravagers always sport two extra lances at the sides. If they still forget about it then even if that is distinctive enough imo, well then its not your problem. I mean everyone can see the difference between a predator and a rhino which is pretty much the same thing in comparison | |
