Listed here in random order are the nominees for Best Strategist in the first ever Dark City Awards.

This denizen is always willing to provide excellent advice to other members on their army lists, individual units and how they may best be used. She or he can advise equally on fluffy and competitive lists, and do not promote cheese. Or perhaps their knowledge and skill has allowed them to win a tournament or two by consistently using their own forces to full effect.

lol I didnt even get around to sending in an nomination email sadly. Plus other than lurking everyday at work and in the chat, I really havent been critiquing any army lists lately. I am very honored for the nomination though.

Deal, I'll start advocating Drazhar in all builds if you take Void Ravens - no one will buy it if we try Mandrakes

bah, why do I have to get void ravens? That means I have to come up with tactics on how to keep those overpriced birds in the air! All you have to do is this

"Put Drazhar in raider- Flat out T1- Combat= Profit!!!"

"Place Void Ravens on board- ???= Profit!!!"

The difficulty with Drazhar comes when they ask me why they shouldn't spend 10 points and take Vect instead.

I'm pretty sure the common answer with Void Ravens is to just lean back and tell them they're playing them wrong if the enemy can shoot them - certainly there are no armies out there with weapons that have the range to reach every part of the board from a central or even corner location - posh!

hmm... the old "just throw nightshields on it" defense...not to shabby

Dont worry, my next list will have 3 Void Ravens w/ 4 Implosion Missles. People wont even know what hit them

And when people ask you why not spend 10 points to get vect. Remember to remind them "Vect doesnt have EW, and he isnt as spikey" There is no comeback to that
