| Just wanted to say hi and looking forward to posting at a DE only site (or at least I think it is). I belong to several DE forum boards and moderate at 2 of them (the DE boards respectively). I have been playing for about 6 years now and I am a victim of running themed armies at tournaments (ouch).
My name "Kwi" is short for Kwikwag which I stole from Queequeg (the cannibal harpooner from Herman Melville's book "Moby Dick"). It's a long story but the name dates back before the use of computers when playing D&D as a kid in the late 70's. The "Grumpy" was given to me by another DE player in the forums as I was getting really tired interpreting the rules of our last codex to newbies thus I always came off as grumpy.
As mentioned above, I love to make themed lists and running them in tournaments. My friends claim the day I do not run a themed list is the day I decide to get competitive - personally, I feel the day I stop playing themed lists is the day I stop playing. However, I will drop a unit or two to get some extra bang for the buck but it burns a whole in my gut every time I do. So for me, its finding the perfect themed list that can compete in tournaments (which means I will have to be the best general ever).
