Old DE player ready for fresh blood!

Hello fellow Commorites,
I started playing DE back in '97(?) as my first 40k army. Everybody thought I was stupid for doing so as DE aren't exactly starter material but I did really good with them. The playstyle just suited me very well. Played for about five years but then the lack of support and other shiny new models distracted me.

I was a bit cautious when I saw the new DE (was it still the army I loved?) and waited until last month to finally return and only now did I realize how much I missed them. The other armies are just painfully slow and though they can soak up more damage I prefer lightning fast strikes. So with the ooooh a new army hype dying down and with IMO the most beautiful 40K models in the range I HAD to be a fool not to give in...again.

I still play two other 40K armies, three Fantasy ones and also all Specialist Games except for Mordheim for some strange reason. I am mostly a fluff-list player but not with my DE, it is much more balanced between being fluffy and competitive. My very first battle after my "DE ice age" went well and I am thirsty for more...

This forum is full of useful threads to be utilised and enjoyed, so get comfortable. Once Dark Eldasr have their talons in your heart they stay there forever.
