Standard 1650 list

I've been tweaking a list for quite a while for casual play at the LGS, and I face Daemons, New Necrons, GK and sometimes nids. So far, i've only lost once... and that was when both the necron player and myself were just dead tired. Everyone else, I simply table. But this time, I want to try a little coven flavour to see how well I can deal with Obyron and his buddies.

How well have the Beastmasters and their little pets worked for you? I've considered trying them out before, but I usually skip by them when considering a list as a force of habbit.

well, first I tried the masters with razorwings against GK. just one pack dropped an assasin, even if he did go first(you killed... two birds. how quaint). It was pretty nice too, because a small squad was able to get up to that assassins' little hidey hole and assault him.

The khymeras have been pretty fun as a distraction/counter-charge/bubblewap/aggressive CC support unit and once they were coupled with the hellions, much LOL for me was had. The opponent? well, lots of gnashing of teeth was heard. I love forcing the opponent into choosing between the FnP hellions and the half-daemon dogs.
