| I am packing my stuff to move houses, a perfect time to get my 'Red Moon Revalusjon' posing: This is the left flank, half of the outflanking wolf/spider cavalry: 2 times 5 wolf riders with spears and short bows (flank around to kill enemy artillery and wizards), 10 spider riders for flank charges, and a chariot for that 'little extra'. The right flank is almost a perfect mirror image of the left: again 2 times 5 light wolf riders for harassment in the rear, my 'Red Wolves' medium wolf cavalry, and 'da chargin shaman', a level 2 shaman with a deadwish (based on Trotski) in a chariot. The center is my 120 strong infantry: the 'Red Guard' (50 goblins with stolen hand weapons and shields) led by the general (based on Lenin) and the 'Black Guard' (50 night goblins with spears and shields) led by the battle standard (based on Stalin), and 20 night goblin bowmen. In the back: 2 spear chukka's and 2 rock lobba's (second to be painted) For the people knowing goblins: there are NO fanatics! I changed my 'snotling commandos' and my last fanatic for an extra rock lobba... (as the field would no doubt be mine, and as I want room to manoeuvre, better to have an extra rock lobba then?) And there are NO orks (as this is an anti-ork revolution, just to piss off my Ork opponent...) Total? Make a guess: 178 models with 40 cavalry and 6 war machines for a mere 1500 points, hits like a brick when played right! OK they are fragile and cowardly and useless, but they are numerous and everywhere! A 100 model strong infantry centre and 40 cavalry and 2 chariots in the flank and the rear are enough to ruin everybody's battle plan... The mass posing together (sad about the last rock lobba, but hell, I 'needed' to go collect Dark Eldar instead of finishing them up...): And now time to pack it in (= that moment where you curse yourself 'why didn't I collect Chaos Greater Deamons instead...)! | |

| It's been a while since I painted anything of my Dark Eldar or Imperial Guard forces. My goblins too cannot take my fancy. But I grabbed my first army, the one I started when I was twelve, Empire/Kislev! Here some results from an army nearing completion: FINALLY I painted the last 4 knights panther, with about 15 years between the first and the last... Was hard to mix painting styles, but the result is OK. The same story, 'Brigade Einhorn', 20 swordsmen which remained undercoated black from my puberty (16 years) up until today (nearing 34 years)... Now they are a Middenheim brigade. 'Hetman Igor' is an ancient non-GW figurine to depict my Kislev battle standard bearer. Using derelicts is cheaper than buying new miniatures! And it was very easy to paint. Notice the DE banner, I sawed off his axe. Some hopes: - that I actually finish my Empire/Kislev project (3 cannons, 6 crewmen, 10 half finished Kislev free company) at 1500 points... - that I actually finish that last rock lobba for my 1500 point goblin horde... And a rant: GW should re-introduce a legal army list for Kislev! Here I am with my favourite 'Empire' models being 10 winged lancers and 20 horse archers, but the winged lancers are decommissioned and the horse archers 'count as' pistoliers... How can I support such a 'count as' when a horse bow is a long range weapon with one shot and two pistols a short range armour piercing weapon? Those horse archers don't even have light armour... | |

| The massed troops look very impressive! And I totally agree. GW needs to show Kislev some more love I only played a Kislevite in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, no army (yet). But who wouldn't want a model of the Ice Queen riding on a bear? | |

| No, I haven't played the game before, but I do know of it. (Sorry for the late reply. I cou;d've sworn that I'd posted before) They look quite groundborne to me. Good luck painting them up. I look forward to seeing them! | |

Yes they are! Rifle infantry platoons (on the left and above) are 3 times the content of the 'Open Fire' box and plastic, on the right and the bottom is the company HQ, a HMG weapons platoon and a mortar platoon, in tin. | |

| Once again no Dark Eldar (as I have been growing increasingly disappointed with GW), but my Flames of War forces are growing! A small American parachute compane, DONE!: The tip of the spear, an armo(u)red relief force, WIP: | |
