| Welcome to my Log, I've had a small army of dark eldar that I've grown fond of lately and so considered it to be a good idea to begin painting it. Unfortunately I have a really shaky hand so the only way to get a half decent paint-job is to use washes and avoid edge highlighting plus these photos were taken from my phone so sorry for the low resolution. Archon Vex from whom my name descends His retinue of trueborn Their personal Raider The family together Any tips and constructive criticism will be taken on board Archon Vex | |

| I love that purple colour, dark and brooding, very DE. If they were mine, I'd perhaps look at changing the base colour, at the moment it kinda blends in with the tabards. | |

First off, welcome to The Dark City, Archon Vex. Secondly, your army looks great so far. I really like the colours you have chosen, and as far as a decent paint job goes, these are actually a very good example of what can be achieved with our beloved True Kin by just using washes! I like it AV, looking forward to seeing more. Cheers.

| Thanks for the support I'm experimenting with the bases at the moment but looking at the bases in good light there is a mild difference between the ground and the tabards but i'm still tinkering around, up next I'll be painting a squad of warriors and their raider. As for army development any suggestions for tall robed models to be used as grotesques? | |

| Nice work!
I'm really curious what material do you use to base your models? It seems to give quite a unique effect.
